Ryder – The Card Game

A game where luck is cast aside in honour of memory, strategy and, after some time, skill. Set in a time of knights & wizards this game will have you boldly shouting your war cry as you fight your way to victory.

Battle your friends to earn the most tributes and buy your passage home from Omentra.

Each player has 4 cards dealt to them, face-down, and they take turns in combating their friends foes around the table. You may look at your cards but cannot move them from their position. You select your cards to attack other player’s face-down cards and then begin the process of endeavoring to remember where all the cards are, which to attack, and what skills to play against opponents to mess with their gameplay etc.

Your gameplay is not just on your turn. There is no sitting idle.

Designed to remove as much of the luck element of card games and instead grant the winner victory via superior memory, strategy, or real-world card handling skills (depending on which legend your play). With additional elements such as War Cry's and individual card skills, there's plenty to laugh about while fighting a deeply engaging war.
